Sunrise Period
for Trademark Holders
May 8th - July 7th, 2017


The Sunrise period was the first phase of the .health launch – it was a 60-day period during which trademark holders had an advance opportunity to register .health domain names corresponding to their marks before .health domain names became available to others.

Who could register .health domains during Sunrise?

Trademark holders who have registered their trademarks with the ICANN Trademark Clearinghouse were eligible for registering .health domain names corresponding to their marks during the .health Sunrise period.
