GIANT was founded by serial entrepreneur, Barry Shier, who saw the need for a festival in Europe where people could gather to discuss the future of health and work together to accelerate better health outcomes through technology. The event has multiple conference tracks and speakers, and its most exciting event may be its BEANSTALKS competition, where startups from around the world compete for prizes, recognition, and access to potential investors and partners.
