Empathy Health
Empathy.health is home to a group of digital health professionals, doctors, healthcare executives, patients, and other collaborators who are committed to advocating for a more human-centered approach to healthcare and digital design.
This initiative is led by CEO Michael Joseph, a seasoned health IT professional, who noticed that empathy is a recurrent theme at health industry conferences, yet, little is done to turn that talk into action. Michael is also a leukemia survivor and understands how it feels when those charged with your care don’t understand what you’re going through emotionally. His passion for this important topic continues to bring people together who are committed to making healthcare, and the technologies it inspires, more patient-centered, compassionate, accessible, effective and efficient.
